I'm Charlie.

Since the beginning, I've loved horses. And dogs. And cats. And even a couple of budgies!

From my first pony lessons as a child in London, England, I was hooked. Since then, horses have been a big part of my life - I've been an employee on a dude ranch in Colorado, a volunteer at a therapeutic riding centre in Kent, and a working student at a competitive dressage barn in Ontario, not to mention a devoted groom to my wife's horse, Byron!

Along the way, I've known and loved a number of smaller creatures, too - including some very special family dogs and over 15 foster cats and kittens that made their way into our home over the years. I'm currently a proud pet dad to a couple of elegant little felines, Sola and Luna.

I started Hold Your Horses Equestrian & Pet Photography to combine my love of animals and making art. Nothing makes me happier than capturing images that show the beauty and personality of these wonderful companions.
